Description

This project involves work with three Auckland- and Wellington-based Pacific community groups – Tokelauan, Tongan, and Tuvaluan – in partnership with local service providers. We learn from their experiences and support them in using the talents that abound in their communities.

We identify practices and develop resources that can be used at home, in the community, and among service providers, and also work with available data sets (primarily through StatsNZ’s Integrated Data Infrastructure (IDI)) to define our cohort and identify wellness and wellbeing outcomes that impact positive ageing among older adults.
